Enjoyed the Back to School Night Monday. I was elated that I knew most of the parents of my son classmates. We got together and talked about your schedule plan. Seem you are heavely into blogs. That glorified e-mail may be something to be exposed to but it possibly is a passing fad. We all cannot understand how a Business Computer class can not introduce and start the children on something like Quicken accounting/bookkeeping or the like. The Tenns are growing up in the electronic age and soon to be evolved e commerce. Moat of these teen cannot even balance a check book manually. Checks may be outdated soon and replaced by electronic media entirely. There is no doubt that these kids are experts at spending money these days and using an ATM machine. They desperatly need to know electronic accounting and how to balance their checkbooks. They need to establish a habit now to be accountable, record and simple caterization of their spending habits. My daughter graduated last year and doesn't have a clue on how to use accounting software. Her filing system is on the floorboard of her car. These young adults will be embarking into a world of flowing dollars and taxes for the rest of their lives. They need electronic business accounting software exposure now, so they have a couple of years of experience with it.
Thank you for entertaining these thoughts.

Thanks for sharing so many insightful tidbits. Sounds as if you had a fantastic time, got to see the major sights and party, too, with such a diverse group. I liked your comments about the Chinese work ethic and how image conscious they are.

I really liked your photograph going up the steps to the great wall. Also, I didn't know about the clay warriors, so that was fascinating! Also, very eerie. We miss seeing you here, but are so glad you are having this adventure! Your blog is really fun to follow.
